Although Mattie Bea’s life was short, the impact she had on others was immeasurable. She exemplified strength, perseverance, and love. Her radiant smile brought light and life to all who knew her. Mattie Bea, a miraculous work of God, accomplished many feats that were once thought not possible.

Mattie Bea was happiest when she was being entertained by her big sister. Although most days therapy was not her favorite thing to do, she adored her team of therapists which included Katie Shotts, Amanda Patterson, and the team at Anchor Rehabilitation. As well as Ruth Ann King and all of the ladies at King Speech-Language. In addition to her therapists, Mattie Bea also had Dr. Blakley Fowler who was not only an advocate for her care, but also a dear friend.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers Owen Moore, Paden Glissen, and Hugh Seawright, and also a very special aunt Tabitha Andrews Ward.
