Matthew Blake Palmer, age 44, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on February 10, 2026. He was born on October 28, 1981.
Matthew proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he worked as an aircraft mechanic. During his military career, he served overseas multiple times, demonstrating dedication, skill, and commitment to those he served alongside. His time in service was a source of pride for both him and his family.
He was a good brother and friend, and an even better uncle. Matthew had a kind heart and a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He loved his family deeply and cherished the time he spent with his nephews and niece.
He is survived by his grandfather, Howard Palmer; sister, Kassie Edmonson (Rodney Boone); brother, Cory Edmonson; and his beloved nephews and niece, Ethan Stephens, Noah Stephens, Kaden Stephens, Keira Stephens, and Matthew Boone. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Mason, and his mother, Kimberly Edmonson.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time.
