FLORENCE– The Shoals Master Gardeners will host their annual plant sell on Friday, April 28 from 8:00AM until 5:30PM and again on Saturday, April 29 from 8:00Am until 2:00Pm at the Farmers Marker located at 451 Fairgrounds Road in Florence.
Choose from a wide selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, native grasses and more including lenton roses, cannas, rudbecia, daylilies with a variety of tomatoes and herbs, iris, blueberry bushes (Tifblue, Climax and Premier). there will be thornless blackberry bushes (Osage and Quachita). Brown Turkey Figs and more.
Sharpening dervices will be available for dull gardening implements.
The regional extension agent, Jane Luetzow will be on hand at the sale on Friday.
Funds raised from this event will be used to benefit public gardens and community service facilities throughout the Shoals area.
