Maryetta H. Miller, 86 of Jasper, went to her eternal home in heaven on Wednesday, January 20th at Ridgeview Nursing Home.
Maryetta was preceded in death by her Parents-Dick and Pauline Hawkins; Husband-Clifford F. Miller; Son-Timothy Joe Miller; Grandson-Joshua Miller.
She is survived by her Daughters-Sandra Rigsby (Mike); Sons-Ken Miller (Karen) and Frank Miller (Connie); Brother-Richard Hawkins; Sister-Judy Welborn; Grandchildren-Todd Rigsby (Alisha), Eric Rigsby (Brianna), Amy Roquemore (Dustin), Adam Miller (Candace) and Mistie Gilliland; 11 Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Dr. Adam Brewer, of Glory Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate. The family requests that mask be worn and social distancing being observed. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. No graveside service will be held.
Maryetta worked for Dr. W.E. Birdsong at Family Health Associates for 33 years. She loved her job and the people she worked with.
Maryetta had a giving heart and wanted to support any worthy mission or charity. With that, the family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the mission or charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgeview Nursing Home and Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided.
