Mary Zappulla Helmer, age 99 of Pulaski, passed away Saturday April 1, 2023 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski.
Mrs. Helmer was born April 20, 1923 in Gretna, Louisiana, to Joseph and Myrtle Martinez Zappulla. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Peter Helmer, grandson Carl Dean Clark, Jr., and sister Louise Bergeron.
Memorial Service will be 6pm Monday April 3, 2023 at The Well Church of God. Private family entombment will be at a later date at Restlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum Avondale, Louisiana.
Survivors include her daughter Carolyn Clark of Pulaski, sister Gail Crawford of Las Vegas, grandchildren Tina Dempster, James Clark, Angelle Oliver, great grandchildren Jack Clark, Cameron Dempster, Felicity Dempster, Colin King, several nieces and nephews.
