Mary Wilburn Chisholm – Obituary

Mary Wilburn Chisholm, 87, of New Braunfels, Texas, went to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, August 12, 2018.  She died from natural causes.  She was born on April 15, 1931, in Madison County, Alabama, and celebrated 60 blessed years with her husband, John T. (“Jack”) Chisholm, who passed away in 2015.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Marion & Hessie Presley Wilburn; her sisters, Novella Carter, Idella Smith, Ruby Hodges Potter, Louise Wilburn, Jean Williams, and her brothers, Dewey Wilburn and Bobby Wilburn.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Donna & Marshall MacDonald of Fort Worth, Texas, and her son and daughter-in-law, John, Jr. & Brenda (“Cricket”) Chisholm of Fisherville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Micah, Charissa, and Asa MacDonald, Rebecca (Kenny) Turner, and Jonathan (Ashley) & Matthew Chisholm, and her sister, Shirley Dreitzler.

Mary lived her last years with her daughter, Donna MacDonald, and her family in Texas, and her son, John, and his family in Kentucky.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL on Friday, August 17, 2018, with a chapel service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Huntsville Memory Gardens.

Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
