Mary Sue Sutton Hulsey, age 85 passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Barfield Nursing Home in Guntersville. Mary was a native to Marshall County born December 19, 1930 to the late Lovie Mae Dabbs Sutton and the late Hubert Sutton. She was a graduate of DAR High School in Grant, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lovie and Hubert Sutton, her loving husband, Carter Lee Hulsey, cherished son, Ronnie Lee Hulsey, a sister, Agnes Whitaker and two brothers, Paul Sutton and Johnny Sutton. Mary is survived by daughter, Sandra Hulsey Hamm (Rick), a sister, Mildred Bailey, daughter-in-law, Jane Hulsey, Grandchildren Ben Marrett (Tori), Chris Hamm (Rebecca), Jameson Hamm (Autymn), Joseph Hulsey (Janene) and Jennifer Hulsey; Great Grandchildren, Davis Hamm, Lilly Hamm, Carter Hamm, Jaycie Hamm and Emmeline West Hulsey, special longtime friend and neighbor, Doris Flynn. The family received friends Friday, November 11th at 1:00 followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 in Crestview Cemetery, Guntersville, AL. Officiating was Bro. Jervis Young. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude; the family would like to thank the staff at Barfield Nursing Home for the care and compassion for the time mother was there.
