Mary Sue Nance, 80, of Athens passed away Saturday at a local nursing facility. Mrs. Nance was a native and lifelong resident of Madison and Limestone County. Survivors include her husband of 63 years: Joseph Erwin Nance; one son: Joseph Stephen (Cyndi) Nance; two daughters: Vickie Lynn (Jim) Ramsey and Karen Renee (Dean) DeSpelder; two brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Harrell officiating, Berryhill Funeral Home directing. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
