Mary Sue Herron Gosa, age 79, of Greenwood Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in the Crews Cemetery. Bro. Philip Blaylock to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
Sue was born on November 4, 1944 in Columbus, MS to the late Tol Herron and the late Millie Mae Moore Herron. She attended Lamar County High School. Sue previously worked at Monroe Trouser in Amory, MS. She really enjoyed listening to gospel music and always loved to be outside gardening and working with her flowers. She was well known for having a green thumb and could grow just about anything, anywhere, anytime. Sue’s loving heart and sweet spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
