Mary Sue Eddins Wilkerson passed away at her home on Sunday March 21, 2021. Born July 28, 1930, she was the only surviving child of Homer and Eunice Eddins of Vossburg, MS. Preceded in death by her husband, Oscar G. Wilkerson, she spent her life as a homemaker and many years as a kindergarten teacher.
She is survived by one son, Keith E. Wilkerson and wife, Teresa, of Colbert, GA; grandson, William L. Wilkerson of Watkinsville, GA; granddaughter, Laura E. Dunn and husband, Seth; great-grandchildren, Naomi, Alexandria, Athan, Elkan, Pierce, and E.E. Dunn, all of Cartersville, GA.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the chapel with Dr. Bobby Burt officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
