Ruth Binkley Mary “Ruth” Binkley, age 96, of Greenbrier, Tennessee, died Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at NorthCrest Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 11:00AM on Monday, May 6th, with Bro. Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Jeramy Binkley, Daniel Gupton, Donald Ray Moore, Joe Mark Fort, Randy Balthrop, Ricky Balthrop, and Anthony Moore serving as pallbearers. Her sons, Billy Binkley & Dennis Binkley are honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 5th, from 2:00PM until 6:00PM and again on Monday from 9:00AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.

Mrs. Binkley was born on April 12, 1928, in Robertson County, Tennessee, to the late Ray Moore, Sr. & Lillie May Henderson Moore. She was retired from Acme Boot Company in Ashland City and was a member of Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Madell Binkley; son, Dan Binkley; brothers, Ray Moore, Jr., John Moore, Jerry Mac Moore, Jack Moore, and Jimmy Moore; sister, Ruby “Tee” Chester; and son-in-law, Barry Gary.

Survivors include her sons, Billy (Linda) Binkley and Dennis Binkley; daughter, Helen Gary; daughter-in-law, Teresa Binkley; brother, Wayne (Beverly) Moore; sisters, Patty Poole and Nellie Jo Balthrop; grandchildren, Jeramy Binkley, Shelly (James) Gupton, Kendie (Jason) Laws, Danielle (Thomas) Rutherford, Dana (Ben) Moseley; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren & one on the way.
