Mary Ruth Benefield, age 80, of Hanceville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Mary was born December 20, 1940 to James and Riller Whisenhunt Roberts.
Mary is survived by son: Chris Benefield (Janet); half-brothers: Rusty Roberts (Louann Deal) and Randy Roberts (Mary); granddaughter: Brandilyn Barrett (Dre); grandsons: Zachary Benefield and Nicholas Benefield; and great grandchildren: Shane, Brooklyn and Carson Dean Barrett.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Johnny Thedford Benefield; daughter: Cynthia Paris; parents; brothers: Cortez Roberts and Junior Roberts; and sisters: Mildred Smith and Nell Benefiled.
A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 4:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cullman, AL.
