Funeral services for Mrs. Mary R. Smith, age 80, are scheduled for 11 AM, Friday, October 9, 2015 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Smith passed away late Tuesday in Decaturville. She was born January 6, 1935 in Henderson County to the late Carzy and Louise Hall Green. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working with flowers and outside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bobby Joe Smith and one sister, Ruth Massengill. Survivors include her son, Mr. Billy Smith (Brenda K.); her daughter, Susie McConville (Mike); three brothers, Coy Green (Dorothy), John Green (Shelia), and Charlie Green; three sisters, Ann Ross (Jr.), Jewell Williams (Don), and Margaret Pinkley (Danny); four grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Smith Gray (Michael), Betty Hatchett (James), Michael and Matthew McConville; and six great grandchildren, Ryan, Madison, and Danny Ray Box and Riley, J. C., and Carson Hatchett.
