ur beloved Mother, Mary “Penny” Lard, 76, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Nick Barnett will be officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Church of Christ Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Holland Lard; sons, Scotty Lard and Adam Steven Lard; parents, Frank and Lula Dunnivant.
She is survived by her sons, Lee Tidwell (Melissa) and Kenneth Lard (Amanda); daughters, Wendy Tidwell and Scarlett Mayes; sisters, Kathy Leigh (Henry), Ann Hipps (Louie), and Shirley Wright (Bob); grandchildren, Heather, Caterina, Evan, Elizabeth, Hailey, Logan, and Sterling; great grandson, Jaxson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Todd Hipps, Brian Hipps, Chris Hipps, Brady Hipps, Evan Tidwell, and Hunter Flanagan.
She loved her children dearly. Penny will be missed by all.
