Mrs. Mary Northcutt (87) passed from this life to her eternal reward on September 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Northcutt was born on February 14, 1934 in McMinnville, TN to Mabel Turner Denby and Frank Denby. She met the love of her life, Bobby Northcutt, at 14 and the two married on April 4, 1953 spending 68 years of loving marriage together. The two shared a life that spanned from Muncy, Indiana to Detroit, Michigan then finally settling in Morrison, TN where they raised their family. Mrs. Northcutt was a beautician by trade, devout Christian, talented cook and artist, and a true joy to be around. She was a faithful member of the Trousdale church of Christ for more than 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mabel Denby.
She is survived by her faithful husband of 68 years, Bobby Northcutt of Morrison, TN, son Bruce (Carol) Northcutt of Smithville, TN, attentive daughter Robin (Rodney) Dye of Morrison, TN, grandchildren: Jacob Northcutt of Knoxville, TN, Jesse (Alisha) Northcutt of Clinton, TN, Casandra (Jeremy) Blair of Blountville, TN, Mikaela Rogers (Austin Cutshaw) of Manchester, TN, Alexandra (David) Kimbrough of Culleoka, TN, Adam (Madison) Dye of McMinnville, TN, Hunter (Callie) Dye of McMinnville, TN, cousins Ruby (Ron) Lowell of Gallatin, TN and Villa Mitchell of Morrison, TN, 17 great-grandchildren, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Arrangements for Mrs. Northcutt will be at the Trousdale church of Christ in Morrison, TN on Wednesday September 8, 2021 with family receiving friends from 10:30 am-2:00 pm. Funeral will be the same day and will be presided by Alan Northcutt with the burial following immediately after in the Trousdale church cemetery.
The family asks that all in attendance would comply with social distancing and wear a mask in light of the ongoing pandemic.
Mrs. Northcutt will be sorely missed by so many as she was so loved by all that knew her.
