Mary Norette Segrest Wigen, age 71, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Born in Montgomery to James Hoyt Segrest and Elizabeth Tannehill Segrest Goodwin, Norette was raised in Huntsville. She was a longtime resident of Littleton, CO and resided in Gulf Shores at the time of her death.
Norette was a retired registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Amanda Thrasher Segrest. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Scott Wigen of Gulf Shores, AL; brother, James Michael “Mike” Segrest of Huntsville, AL; niece, Jordan (Harrison) Bishop of Birmingham, AL, Ellen (James) Fortin of Aurora, IL; nephew, Clay (Corie) Segrest of Birmingham, AL.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
