Mary Nell Meadows, age 85, of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Her graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Glendale Cemetery with Brother Greg Beasley officiating.
Mrs. Meadows was a Sheffield native and a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Meadows, daughter, B. Diane Morris, mother, Annie Ruth Butts Smith, father, Eddie Acie Smith, sister, Dorothy Patterson, and brother, Howard Smith.
She is survived by her daughters, Gail Campbell and Susan Fisher (Claude), all of Tuscumbia; sister, Gloria Cahill, of Texas; eight grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Freddy Morris, Andy Morris, Andy Berryman, Jamie Elrod, Jamie Fisher, and Scott Morgan.
