Mary Nell Hubanks was born December 8, 1923 in Chester County, TN the daughter of the late Hollie and Zula Naylor Plunk.
She was united in marriage to William B. Hubanks on December 21, 1940. Mr. Hubanks preceded her in death on October 20, 1991.
Mrs. Hubanks was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who always had a beautiful smile to share with others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to gospel music, gardening, quilting, watching birds in her yard and feeding the squirrels. She was a member of The Springs United Pentecostal Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
Mrs. Hubanks departed this life on February 7, 2014 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 1 Month, 30 Days. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Hubanks of Tuscumbia, AL, Patricia Matlock and husband Jerry of Selmer, TN, Shelia Collins and husband Michael of Selmer, TN; two daughter-in-laws, Judy Hubanks of Jackson, TN, Alice Hubanks of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters, Eva Plunk of Adamsville, TN, Hermie McCollum and husband W.D. of Adamsville, TN; sister-in-law, Tommie Dodd of Jackson, TN;
nine grandchildren, Tonya Cosby, Brad Ayers, Pattie Hubanks, Sonya Stewart, Michelle McIntyre, Jenny Finlayson, Jeremy Matlock, Grant Isbell, and Lori Plunk; 14 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hubanks was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Bobby Hubanks; two sisters, Bertha Davis, Hettie Plunk; four brothers, David, Claudie, Curtis, and Jessie Plunk
