age 57 of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Gibson was born April 15, 1956 in Limestone County to James Andrew Smith and Willa Mae Chambers Smith.
Services for Mrs. Gibson are Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2014 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hester’s Chapel Cemetery with Chuck Hood and Jerry Marlow officiating.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was retired from General Motors.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Gibson of Anderson; son, Scotty Lee Gibson and wife Tami of Anderson; daughters, Teresa Hicks and husband Bennie of Anderson, Paula Foust and husband Jason of Anderson and Patricia Gibson and Fiancé Randy Townsend of Minor Hill, TN; sister, Linda Hicks of Lester; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Willa Smith; brother, James Glenn Smith; brother-in-law, Billy C. Jones.
Pallbearers will be her Grandchildren.
