Funeral service for Mary Milam Posey, 77, will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Posey died on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1936, in Giles County to Thomas Clifton Milam and Mamie Virginia Gilbert Milam. She was a member of New Center Baptist Church. She worked and retired from Chore-time and loved growing flowers. Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Kelvis “Bud” Posey, a brother, Bill Milam and a sister: Linda Sparks .
