Lynn Lamb Profile Photo Mary Lynn Lamb, 91, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born April 4, 1933, in Pelahatchie, to Samuel Oliver Massey and Hattie Mary Wiley Massey.

Lynn shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Henry Lamb, before his passing in December 2018. Together, they made Tupelo their home, building a life full of memories and love.

A dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lynn treasured the sense of community she found there, especially within her Sunday School class. Lynn found joy in the simple pleasures—traveling, tending to her flowers, and sewing. But above all else, she treasured her family and the precious time spent with them.

Lynn leaves behind her two children, Mike Lamb and his wife, Lesia, of Tupelo, and Vicki Gaither and her husband, Keith, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Drew Lamb and his wife, Ashley, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Morgan Lamb of Saltillo, and Audrey Gaither of Nashville, Tennessee; one great-grandchild, Hayden Lamb; one brother, Samuel Oliver Massey, Jr. (Jamie) of Jackson; and twenty nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; brother, John Massey; and two sisters, Charlotte Thompson and Gloria Harvey.

Visitation will be 12 until 2 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Pegues, Tupelo.

Graveside services honoring Lynn’s life will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Tupelo Memorial Park with Dr. John Boler officiating.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 501 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.
