Mary Lynn Clark, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Countrywood Manor Assisted Living in Mantachie. She was born August 10, 1947, in Kosciusko, to Vernon and Clara Mae O’Briant Thrasher. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She retired from the Itawamba County Schools after 28 years of service. She absolutely loved teaching all kids, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Minister Paul Epler officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two sons, James T. “Jay” Clark (Heather) of Fairview, and Jonathon M. “Jon” Clark of Fulton; four grandchildren, Sydney Williams (Caleb) of Virginia Beach, VA, Joseph Clark of Fulton, Zoey Clark and Sawyer Clark, both of Fairview. Two sisters, Janelle Butler of Brandon, MS, and Jerry Pare (George) of Birmingham, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. “Jim” Clark; and her parents.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
