Homegoing services for Mrs. Mary L. Wallace.
Mary Lucille Wallace, 74, was called home on July 1st, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Helen Keller Hospital. Her visitation will be Friday, July 4th, from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 5th, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. George Henley and Bro. Gary Cosby officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Danny Russell officiating.
She was a resident of Cherokee, AL after transplanting from Fort Wayne, Indiana with her husband of 53 years, Charles Elmer Wallace. She was a retired sewing operator from Mid-South Drapery in Belmont, MS. She was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church and served faithfully until her health failed.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by three children, Charles Elmer Wallace Jr., Tamera Ann Wallace and Patricia Gail Wallace.
She is survived by husband Charles Elmer Wallace, daughter, Robin Wallace Speegle, son-in-law, Robin Speegle, 2 step-daughters, Sarah Jones, Linda Murphy. She has 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Three sisters: Sandra Laier, Carol Ward, Patricia Draper, one brother, Mike Draper.
Pallbearers, Billy Ward, Steve Ward, David Boshers, Curtis Wallace, grandsons: Joel Speegle, Mikie Jones, Leamon Jones, Mike Huhgie.
