Mary Louise “Granny Lulu” Adams

Mary Louise “Granny Lulu” Adams, age 81 of Cordova passed away Monday, September 30th, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Frank Wolverton and Flossie Johnson. She was a woman of faith and member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was also a faithful volunteer at the local nursing home, and had a heart for children.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Cordova, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m.   Burial will be at Mt. Herman Cemetery on Mt. Herman Road.  Leonard Rigsby will officiate.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her Father-William Frank Wolverton; Mother-Flossie Johnson; Infant Son-Tommy Hearn; Sister-Letha Cooner; Brothers-Earl, Cary, Benny and William Wolverton; Sisters-Lottie Baker and Daisey Hill.

She is survived by her Daughters-Ruby Levan, Mitzi Hearn, Lois Hearn and Ruth Ferguson; Sons-Wade Hearn, Gene Hearn, Jack Wilcher and Johnny Ferguson; Sisters-Marjorie L. Wolfe Hartford, Dasie Bernice Taylor and Linda F. Lawson Keller; Grandchildren-Maranda Farmer, Marie Bynum, Dedra Puckett, Dexter Hearn, Johnathan Ferguson, Jack Wilcher, Jr., David Hearn, Starla Wilcher, Jessica Morris, Emily Wilcher, Raquel Edmondson and Gabriel Perez; 8 Great Grandchildren.
