Mary Louise Feazell Sprayberry

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Louise Feazell Sprayberry, age 83 of Lineville, will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mark Smith and her Grandson Cory Sprayberry officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Sprayberry passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Grandview Medical Center. Born in Buffalo, NY, She moved with her family as a child to Saks, and lived in that community until settling in Clay County with her husband in her later teens. She worked at Wellborn Cabinets and Tyson Foods for a number of years, but was proud to be the family babysitter for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sprayberry enjoyed watching soap operas, fishing with her friends and family, and going on walks and hikes. She also liked eating at Captain D’s, collecting dolls, and listening to Elvis Presley in her spare time. She attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sprayberry is survived by two children: Helen Tapley (Jerry) and Barry Sprayberry, both of Lineville; four grandchildren: Patrick Green, Brandi Tapley Clark (Kevin), Cory Sprayberry (Carrie) and Cody Sprayberry (Fiancé Alexis Byars); 7 great-grandchildren: Chase Phillips, Damion Clark, Jadon Phillips, Taylor Tapley, Addison Sprayberry, Olivia Tapley, and Abby Sprayberry; two brothers: Robert Feazell of Baltimore, MD and Blaine Sprayberry of Haynes City, FL, plus a large extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Harvey and Dorothy Helen Meek Feazell; her husband, Jack Sprayberry; one infant son; one grandson, Chad Tapley; and her special friends, Jo Ann Mitchell and John Green.

Active Pallbearers will be Patrick Green, Cody Sprayberry, Chase Phillips, Damion Clark, Jadon Phillips, and Taylor Tapley.

Her visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM. She will lie in state for one hour on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M.
