Mary Lou Snow King, 90 of Arab Alabama died Monday December 5, 2016 at Cullman Health Care.
Mrs. King was born August 4, 1926 in Marshall County to Dee Snow and Maude Mahan Snow. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She made Arab her home 25 years ago, moving here from Guntersville. Her husband Leonard King preceded her in death on December 27, 2011.
Mrs. King was a member of Joppa Church of God.
She is survived by her children and in laws: Jerry Wayne and Pauline King, Zendell Ellis King, Benny Ray and Sheila King, Wanda Gail and Coleman Collins, Dina S. and Ronnie Dale Walden and Patricia and Tommy LeCroy; her sister Dot Abernathy; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Johnny Lynn King and her husband Leonard King.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 8, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Gary Harvell and Brother: Al Mahan, officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Home Cemetery with Arab heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Abernathy, Robert Simmons, Dewayne “Mush” Wray, Bob Lang, Ronnie Walden, Spencer Snow and alternate John Ware.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
