Funeral service for Mary Lou Schrader, age 85, of Decatur, will be Sunday, January 3, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Fanning officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Schrader, who died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at her residence, was born March 22, 1930, in Morgan County, to William Roy Thompson and Rebecca Wilkerson Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schrader, five brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by three daughters, Teresa Chasteen, Deborah Wigginton (Robert), and Rita Speegle (Bobby), all of Decatur; six grandchildren, Heather, Stephen, Wendy, Bradley, Stephanie, and Lauren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
