In Loving Memory of Mary Lou Rittner Burrow.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Momma, Nana, and Great-Nana Mary Lou Rittner Burrow, who left us peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born in Ohio to Leslie and Carrie Rittner, both of whom preceded her in death, Mary Lou made her home in New Hope, Alabama, where she lived for 55 years. Her life was centered around family, laughter, and adventures. She embraced every moment with joy-whether she was sewing, cracking jokes, celebrating holidays, or soaking up the sun at the beach. But above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, whose love and laughter filled her life with purpose and happiness. She truly lived life to the fullest. We will truly miss her as our Momma, Nana, Great Nana and friend. Mary Lou was also preceded in death by her sister Joann Leonard and brother George Rittner.
She is survived by her devoted children, Brenda and Bruce Keel, Buddy and Bobby Burrow, Hollie and Scott Stone and Kenneth Burrow. She was a proud and loving Nana to Josh Whitaker, Jeremy Whitaker, Stephanie and Justin Green, Carrie Morrow and Jake Holt, T J Morrow and Whitney Holloway, Steven Burrow and Tiffany Duncan.
Her legacy continues through her great grandchildren, Austin Green, Camryn Green, Colton Green and Axel Morrow who is expected to join us in May 2026.
Mary Lou also leaves behind her lifelong friend, Margie Byrd, whose love and companionship brought comfort, laughter and strength throughout the years.

A Final Message from Me to You

You are my happiest memory,
my warmest hug,
and my greatest accomplishment.
You helped me grow into a stronger woman,
and because of you, I know what pure love truly feels like.
Thank you for loving me through every chapter of life.
And thank you-most of all- for making my life the happiest it could be.

I’ll be watching over you, smiling and waiting until we meet again.

With all my love,
Mom/Nana/Great-Nana
