Mary Lou Cline Schrimsher (Ludy), 92, passed away November 26, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Erskine Schrimsher; infant son, Donald Ray; parents, William Edgar and Veda Lou Reed Cline; brother, Glenn Cline; and special sister-in-law, Anne Whitaker.
Surviving are her children, Linda Anderson (Granvile), Ronald Schrimsher (Karen), and Arnold Schrimsher (Sylenda); grandchildren, Jason Schrimsher (Misty), Ashley Hoskin (Aaron), Jennifer Franks (Todd), TJ Schrimsher (Crystal), Caitlin Anderson, Daphne Zink (Phillip), Derek Welford (Nicki), and Matthew Haney (Auburn); great grandchildren, Amberleigh Schrimsher, Matthew Franks, Sullivan Schrimsher, Charlotte Schrimsher, Sean Zink, Emily Zink, Chandler Welford, Spencer Welford, and Grant Haney; Brenda Norman, mother of Jason and Jennifer; and Gina Whorton, caregiver and friend.
Visitation will be Friday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ollie Cooper officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jason Schrimsher, TJ Schrimsher, Todd Franks, Aaron Hoskin, Terry Cline, Tim Cline, Roger Whitaker, and Matthew Franks.
Interment will be in Walker Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at South Hampton and Aveanna Hospice for the care that was given during her illness.
