Mary Lou “Billie” Thomas, age 89, of Chicago, Illinois (formerly of Phil Campbell), passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, with the funeral following at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Charles G. Thomas (West Chicago, IL); granddaughter, Emily Thomas; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Kauley, Tommy Kauley; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Aileen Cadle (Florida); and a host of nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Thomas; parents, Arthur Milton Baker, Emma Yocum Baker; several brothers and sisters; and grandson, Charles Lee Thomas.
The pallbearers will be Jonathan Kauley, Tommy Kauley, Henry Baker, Teddy Cadle, Aubrey Jackson, and Jerome Jackson.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
