Mary Lorene Rogers, 90, Tuscumbia (formerly of Russellville), passed away on Wednesday, April 03, 2013 at Helen Keller Hospital.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 07, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Henry Melton and Bro. Mike Nash. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wylie E. Cooper; mother, Mary Luia Gentle Cooper; brothers, James Cooper, Thomas Calvin Cooper; and sister, Iva Mae Mayfield
She is survived by the her children, Jerold Rogers (wife, Elaine), Jimmy Ray Rogers (wife, Mary Kay), Mary Ruth James (husband, Tommy); grandchildren, Lee Rogers (wife, Kim), Kurt Rogers (wife, Shannon), Karen James Hill (husband, Michael), Jim Rogers (wife, Beth), Ben Rogers (wife, Mary Caitlin); great-grandchildren, Ryan Rogers, Kyle Rogers, James Matthew Hill, Alex Peters, Will Rogers, Lauren Grace Rogers; siblings, Darold Dee Cooper, Leatrice Horton; and a host of nieces & nephews..
The pallbearers will be Lee Rogers, Kurt Rogers, Jim Rogers, Ben Rogers, Michael Hill, and Ryan Rogers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Ronald McCoy; and nurses and staff of the 4th floor at Helen Keller Hospital.
