MaryMary Lois Willis Mitchell, age 85, of Trussville, Alabama (formerly of Russellville) went to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She went peacefully in her sleep, holding her daily devotional.

Mary was one of seven children, born to Floyd & Elizabeth Fanny Modenia Willis on April 11, 1930. She married the love of her life, Roy Cecil Mitchell in 1948. She adored each and every one of her many family and friends, and they adored her. The world lost a beautiful lady, beautiful both inside and out, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

The visitation will be 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 03, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Knights of Pythias Cemetery of Russellville. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jeff Fleming.

She was reunited with Roy, her husband of 57 years; parents, Floyd & Elizabeth Fanny Modenia Willis; siblings, Ozzie Pelham Willis, Madge Evelyn Willis Casteel, Melba Jean Willis Pickett, Floyd Wayne Willis, Will Onynal Willis; and son-in-law, Warren Earl Misso.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, son, Stephen R. Mitchell, Seattle, Washington; daughters, Joan M. Misso, Trussville, AL, Denise M. King (husband, Warren), Fultondale, AL; grandchildren, Matthew Warren Misso, Allison Michelle Misso Self (husband, Jamie), Dylan Steven Misso; great-grandchildren, Lillian Brooke Self, James Pinkney “Jake” Self, Emorie Earl Self, Rebel Jamison Self; great-God-daughter, Sydney Johnson; sister, Martha Ann Barnett; her daughter’s nephews, Brian K. King, Paul M. King; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
