Services for Mary Lee Partrich Hagerman, age 93, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin McCormick officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Valhalla Cemetery in Midfield, Alabama.
Mrs. Hagerman, who was born November 1, 1922, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at her residence. She attended grammar, junior high, and senior high school in Tuscaloosa, graduating in May of 1940. She attended the University of Alabama. She married August 15, 1941, to Joe Read Hagerman in Tuscaloosa. She pursued a successful career as a housewife, mother, and grandmother. She was a longtime member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Decatur. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and sister, Doris Partrich Robbins.
She is survived by her son, Joe Robert Hagerman (Brenda Bone); grandson, Joshua Lee Hagerman (Jennifer); granddaughter, Holly Lynn Hagerman; three great-grandchildren, Kian Hagerman, Chase Hagerman, and Brooke Hagerman; and one sister, Alice Partrich Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
