Mary Lee Adair, 84, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, at her home. She was born October 17, 1937, in Tishomingo County to M. T. Ellis and Birdie Leoma Hudson Embrey. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, listening to the Grand Ole Opry, and being around her grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, at the Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Nichols and Bro. Franky Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Pardue; her two sons, David Leathers and Douglas Adair; two grandsons, Sonny Pardue (Erica) and Eric Leathers; two great-grandchildren, Kyla Pardue and Halstyn Leathers; seven sisters, Julia Bridges, Charlene Grimes, Joyce Creel, Louise Daniel, Velma Vess (Frank), Bobbie Embrey (Cleve), and Nola Underwood; four brothers, Archie Embrey, Tom Embrey (Mary), Dale Embrey, and Paul Embrey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Edward Adair, on April 18, 2003; her parents, M.T. and Birdie Embrey; one son-in-law, Sonny Pardue; one brother, Johnny Embrey; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tom Embrey, Dale Embrey, Paul Embrey, Sonny Pardue, Eric Leathers, and Matthew Grimes.  Honorary pallbearers will be Archie Embrey and Halstyn Leathers.
