Funeral services for Mrs. Mary “Kathy” Katherine Flemings, age 65, will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 PM until service time. All services will follow the appropriate social distancing protocols, with face masks required, as set forth by the CDC and state of Tennessee.
Mrs. Flemings, a homemaker, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Douglas Nursing Home in Milan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mildred Melton; husband, James Flemings; a daughter, Sara Summer; and two brothers, Charles Melton and Richard Melton.
Mrs. Flemings is survived by a daughter, Sonya Summer of Humboldt; two step-sons, Leroy Lewis and Lonnie Lewis both of Lampasas, TX; seven grandchildren; Holly Turney, Jacob Watson, Sean Watson, Matthew Watson, Christopher Summer, Shane Hinson and Adam Hinson; and four great grandchildren, Karson Hart, Sara Summer, Addilyn Hinson and Elliot Watson.
