Mary Kathryn Garrard, 78, died Friday, March 14, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born June 17, 1935, to B. A. and Georgia Stovall Bean. She was a dietician and a homemaker. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She loved her dog, Molly.
Services will be at 3:30 p. m. Saturday, March 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Allen Gullick and Bro. Ben Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Perry Loague (Deborah) and James Garrard, both of Dorsey; one daughter, Sheryl Shedd of Dorsey; two step-sons, Bill Garrard (Jacqui) of Franklin, Ohio, and Bob Garrard of Baton Rouge, La.; one step-daughter, Becky Keeling (Gaylon) of Baton Rouge; one brother, Edwin Bean (Faye) of Mobile, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Garrard; one sister, Sarah Bean Jordan; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Richard Shedd, Terry Steele, Greg Tutor, Thomas Westmoreland, Jason Loague, and Joe Sheffield.
Visitation will be from 1 p. m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
