Mary Kathryn Garrard – Obituary

MaryMary Kathryn Garrard, 78, died Friday, March 14, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born June 17, 1935, to B. A. and Georgia Stovall Bean. She was a dietician and a homemaker. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She loved her dog, Molly.

Services will be at 3:30 p. m. Saturday, March 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Allen Gullick and Bro. Ben Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Perry Loague (Deborah) and James Garrard, both of Dorsey; one daughter, Sheryl Shedd of Dorsey; two step-sons, Bill Garrard (Jacqui) of Franklin, Ohio, and Bob Garrard of Baton Rouge, La.; one step-daughter, Becky Keeling (Gaylon) of Baton Rouge; one brother, Edwin Bean (Faye) of Mobile, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Garrard; one sister, Sarah Bean Jordan; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Richard Shedd, Terry Steele, Greg Tutor, Thomas Westmoreland, Jason Loague, and Joe Sheffield.

Visitation will be from 1 p. m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
