Mary Katherine Mellor, 79, of Huntsville, AL, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024.Mary was born on October 9, 1945, in Oak Ridge, TN, to Herbert and Lucy Sisk.
A talented beautician, she spent over 30 years perfecting her craft at Jackson Way Styling Salon, where she was known for her skill and care. Beyond her career, Mary had a remarkable eye for design. She was a gifted decorator who took great joy in transforming homes and creating beauty wherever she went.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lucy Sisk; her husband, Frank Donald Mellor Sr.; and her siblings, Aubrey Sisk, Harrell Sisk, and Gail Hudson.
Mary’s memory will be lovingly cherished by her daughter, Lisa Lewis; her sisters, Ann Mashburn and Judy Sisk; her two grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren.
Her kindness, creativity, and love for her family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
