Mary Jo Walsh 82, of Athens passed away Saturday April 2, 2022 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Service will be 2PM Thursday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with James Harris officiating,
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM. Burial will be in Thatch-Mann Cemetery.
She was born July 8, 1939 in Murphy, NC and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Athens, and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by, Husband: James L. Walsh, Sons: Gary Alan Walsh, James Keith Walsh all of Athens, Grandchildren: Ashley Walsh, Nicholas Walsh. William Walsh, Madison Walsh, Evan Ward, Justin Ward, 5 Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Patricia Lance of Blairsville, GA, Gail Waldrup of Hayesville, NC, Darlene Hawkins of Toney, AL.
She was preceded in death by: Daughter: Lisa Walsh. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Breast Cancer Society.
