Mary Jo Davis age 82 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Davis was born March 23, 1932 in Jefferson County, AL to John G. Hambright and Maude Kennedy Hambright.
Graveside services will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 1:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Brother Eddie Gooch officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tanner, AL. She was Co-Owner with her husband, of Davis and Sons Food Service at Calhoun College in Decatur and Princeton Medical Center in Birmingham. Mrs. Davis was a caregiver in Hartselle and Decatur and was the best Mom in the world.
Daughter of the late John Garnett and Maude Hambright; wife of the late Lester T. Davis.
Sister of Margaret Eubanks of Athens; children of Roger Davis and wife, Donna of Cookeville, TN , Tommy Davis of Orlando, FL, Terry Davis of Athens and Kenny Davis; grandchildren, James Davis, Scott Davis, Danny Davis, Katie Sapp Adam Davis and Amanda Walker; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Cullen.
