Mrs. Mary Jean Clark, age 89, of Arley passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Walker Rehab and Health Center. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday, October 14, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at New Canaan Cemetery. Pastor Bobby Holt will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, EJ “Bud” Clark; father, Jack Long; mother, Ethrel Sams; and brother, Gentry Long.
She is survived by his goddaughter, Ma’Kenzie Rose Miller; brothers, Eddie Sams (Becky) and Lester Cleo (Cathy); and sisters, Barbara Sharpton (Jimmy) and Jimmie Gayle Jatzlau (Edwin).
