Mary Jane Yost, age 86, of Huntsville, Alabama, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2023.
Mary Jane was born January 5, 1937 in Harvard, Nebraska to Walter and Clara Yost. She graduated from Harvard High School where she met and wed her high school sweetheart, Marvin Yost. Later, she attended Athens State University, where she received a degree in business administration.
She was an elementary teacher in her early years, then enjoyed a career with the Army Missile Command, where she later retired.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Marvin; her brother, LaVerne Yost (Shirley); sons, Scott Yost and Tom Yost (Shari); grandchildren, Aimee Elizabeth and David Yost.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 28 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow immediately after.
