Mary Jane Starkey age 70, of Arab, passed away Tues. June 8, 2021, at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. Mary was born on September 20, 1950, in Arab, AL the Daughter of William Donald and Hazel Thompson Starkey. She was a 1968 graduate of Arab High School and received a B.S. Degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University. She worked as an RN at Huntsville Hospital for 47 years and had also worked part time at Crestwood. She attended Arab First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her Brother: Robert Allen (Joyce) Starkey of Arab; Sister: Leah (David) Posey of Arab; Aunt: Nancy Smalley of Arab; Niece: Laura (Jimmie) Wade. A Graveside Service will be held on Thurs. June 10, 2021, at 11 AM at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Mike Shirley officiating and Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be Wed. from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel.
