Mary Jane Mellons, 67, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Michigan to Paul and Harriet Kline Neverth. She had worked as a seamstress at Wrangler for twenty-five years. She was currently employed at Sunshine Mills World Pet.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Ricky Collum and Bro. Loyd Ray Griffus officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hodges, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three children-Tammy Lynn Holland (Shannon), Shane Doyle Scott and B.J. Scott; three grandchildren-Briley Holland, Cody Holland and Amber Sigafus (Will); one great-granddaughter-Marley Sigafus; one sister-Barbara Wyatt (Frank); sister-in-law-Carol Neverth; nieces and nephews-Renee Stoll (Steve), Heather Rottman (Jay), Sarah Wyatt, Rhonda Neverth and Brent Neverth and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-Mike Neverth.
Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
