Mary Jane Gray, 91, of Mentone, passed away January 9, 2022 at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome. Mrs. Gray was born February 16, 1930 to the late Samuel Henry and Maggie Ella Clark Hale. She was a homemaker and raised three sons. A member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, she loved attending worship services and listening to gospel music.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, January 13th, at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fischer Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her sons; Larry Gray (Kathy), Gary Gray (Pat), and Steve Gray (Pam); brother, Gene Hale; sisters, Linda Hale and Wanda Buttram; 5 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Gray; grandson, Larry Paul Gray; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
