Mrs. Mary Jane Eddington Moore was born August 03, 1947 to the union of the late Mr. Frank Eddington and Mrs. Louella Lay Eddington Reeves I Dyersburg, TN. She was raised in the Middle Tennessee area and developed a deep love for the outdoors, an abiding passion she would carry throughout her life. In her adult years, she would establish her family raising her children. She was a hard-working woman as she worked for many years at Texas Boot Manufacturing in Waynesboro, TN. Being spiritually minded, when she was able, she attended the Green River Tabernacle Church in Waynesboro, TN although poor health often prevented her from attending but her heart was always focused on her God. In her leisure time she would often go fishing with family and friends but she held no other moment close to her heart than the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Mary Jane Eddington Moore passed from this life on October 27, 2025 in Florence Alabama at the North Alabama Medical Center making her stay on this earth some 78 years 2 month and 278 days.

Those left to honor her memory include her children Glen Junior Reeves of Dyersburg, TN Jeffery Lynn Reeves of Waynesboro, TN and Sherry Ann Riggins husband James Chad Riggins of Pulaski, TN; siblings David Eddington of Lawrenceburg, TN Betty Davis husband Jerry of Waynesboro, TN and Barbara Ledlow of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren Brittney Hitt, Mary Beth Melton, Shane Wayford Reeves, Cheyenne Reeves, Dominique Reeves, Laura Reeves, Ariel Reeves, Skye Reeves and Gauge Reeves; as well as several great grandchildren, and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Franklin Eddington and great grandson Jonathan Wayne Morgan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 1, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Geneva Middleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Friday October 31, 2025 at 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm and again on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am till 1:00 pm service time all at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel.
