Mrs. Mary Ida Flanagan, age 81, of Scottsboro, went to be home with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2019. She had a good spirit for life and a deep love for family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow at Clay Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Flanagan is survived by her children, Scott (Traci) Flanagan, Sandra O’Tinger, and Mike Bailey; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah L. Barton; parents, Elbert and Elsie (Bohanon) Miller of Princeton; siblings, Elbert Miller Jr., Louise Hambrick, Orville Miller, Donald Miller, and Shirley Pogue.
