Mary Frances Owens passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at her home in Bridgeport, she was 92. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport from 4-8:00PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her daughters, Gail Thomas and Deborah (Ronald) Owen; sister, Ethel Ferguson; grandchildren, George Shavers, Jr., Robin (Jim) Sampley, Wendy (Trae) Durham, Scott (Jamie) Henegar, Lee (Allie) Henegar; 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; special friend, Doris Clark; Special niece, Kathy Peacock and a host of other nieces, nephews and family members of Stevenson Holiness Church.
Mrs. Owens is preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Ella Pace; Husband, Richard Dick Owens; children, Mary Elizabeth Owens, Sheila Kay Owens, Richard Douglas Owens, and Brenda Carol (George) Shavers; Siblings, Milton Pace, Dewey Pace, Wayne Pace, Newell Pace, James Pace, Austin Pace, Jr., Lizzie Pace, Ruthie Anthony, Ruby Evans, and Pearl Pace.
