Mary Frances Mullen Campbell
Mrs. Campbell, 76, of Bolivar, passed away early Saturday morning, April 8, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

A native of Toone, she was a lifelong resident of Hardeman County, the daughter of the late Gene and Dovie Young Mullen. Mrs. Campbell, along with her husband, Robert, owned and operated Campbell’s Cleaners for over 35 years in Bolivar. The Campbells were united in marriage on September 25, 1963. She attended Toone Elementary and Bolivar Central High School playing basketball at both schools. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing and gardening in her spare time.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Campbell, Sr., of Bolivar; two sons, Robert D. Campbell, Jr. (Carolyn) of Bolivar and Tony Campbell, also of Bolivar; her sister, Bobbie Ann Sciara of Byhalia, MS; four grandchildren, Shayne, Justin (Jessica), Lauren and Jonathan; six great-grandchildren, Callie, Connor, Makynlee, Colton, Chloe and Jacoby; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Bennett and Virginia Mullen; and five brothers, Bobby Earl “Bo”, Charles “Booger”, Bill, J.C. and Richard Mullen.
