Mary Frances Balentine, 78, of Florence passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Macedonia Church of Christ from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Sonny Hargett and James Senn will officiate.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved and cherished the time she spent surrounded by her grandchildren as they grew into adults that she took such pride in. She was a quiet lady with a gentle spirit who was always willing to listen to anyone that needed a friend to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Myrtle Clemons and 10 siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Rod Balentine; Children, Rhonda Hunt (Ken), Sherry Carpenter, Jerry Balentine (Kaye), Angie Yates (Jamie); Sister, Eilene Smith; Grandchildren, Kole Balentine, Courtney McSween, Parker Rutland, Molly Carpenter, Monica Carpenter, Riley Balentine, and Lauren Yates. One Great grandson Emmett Balentine.
Pallbearers will be Parker Rutland, Kole Balentine, Jamie Yates, Ken Hunt, Cole McSween and Logan Durham.
