Graveside services for Mrs. Mary F. Rogers, age 75 of Ashland, was held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Ashland City Cemetery with Bro. Mark Kytan officiating.
Mrs. Rogers passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her home. A lifelong resident of Clay County, she attended Lineville High School and graduated with the 1964 class. She worked many years at Tru Wood and loved to quilt, sew and crochet. She was an avid Auburn fan and enjoyed reading, gardening and visiting with her neighbors. Mrs. Rogers loved animals, especially her dog “Boots”. She was a loving and caring, mother, grandmother and wife who will be dearly missed. Mrs. Rogers was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Sonny Rogers of Ashland; her son, Josh Rogers (Megan) of Goldville; two grandchildren: Joshlynn and Mackenzie Rogers; her sister, Susie Wilkinson of Highland; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rio Leslie Harris and Mary Ann Bertha Dingler Harris; and ten brothers.
Pallbearers were: Billy Wilkinson, Randall Thompson, Stevie Harris, Leslie Harris, Sr., Leslie Harris, Jr., George Harris, David Harris and Breta Harris
